Studies, hahs! got back my results.
Results were so-so.
Lot's of B's as usual.
Didn't really study, so can't blame anyone.
Cmon, it's only EOY.
But i'm thinking of dropping biology.
I only need 6 subjects, i have 8.
3 sciences some more.
Take so much for what? Not gonna take bio in JC.
But... well... guess i will just learnt to live with it....
Bio is easier as compared to other 2 sciences.

Blogshop is well...
HECK CARE.
Can't blame me, the economy is obviously not good.

Violin lessons were....
Have to go practice~
Last week's were not available.
DEEPAVALI.

Oh and talking about that, the holiday(monday) were a waste of time and effort.
Student leadership retreat, how lame...
We spent half of the day in the posh ballroom doing discussions.
For eg. Ways leaders should act to uphold RSPIRIT.
WTF right?! yea, i know.
It's already the end of octoberrrrr for goodness sake.
I mean, we could have done it earlier in a more suitable venue?
You spent $5000 for that? Other CCAs need funds for other more useful aspects.
Could have been used for different purposes, you get what i mean?

Then was in sentosa, the big sun making me no mood at all.
Considering the people around you.
They talked so much about bonding, did it really work?
Look at it.
But still, really appreciate their effort for planning this though it was meaningless to me.

Band, something happened.
I really hate you.
Why do you always have to be so sarcastic?
You don't know how much effort i out in,
so you have NO right to judge me.
YOU sucked.
So, i was swooped to being the DM.
FYI, things i said above have got nothing to do with me changing to DM.
Being the DM, its a blessing.
You won't get pin-point at.
You won't have to be the star player cause you're the BM.
You won't receive messages out of the blue, having to inform the band etc.
You won't have to worry about warm up.
You won't have to worry about the weak sections.
You won't have to do the intonation chart.
You won't have to remind the EXCO and SLs to do this and that.
You won't have to make the extra mile to find out more about chords, scales, intonnation etc.
You won't have to worry about the band not getting in tune.
You won't have to CARE SO MUCH AND END UP GETTING SCOLDED.
You won't cry yourself to sleep.

Hurrayyyy!
But still, there's a stabbing pain in the heart.
Makes me reflect on myself, am I that lousy?
So not up to standard?
So much that you have to do this?
Or is it that you're biased?

It's obvious who you are biased to,
and i'ld say that i hate people like this.
They put their mood into their work.
IT SUCKED, alot.

Anyway, i'm already losing hope for the band.
So, I guess i'll just put it aside.
It's easy for me to skip band,
it doesn't matter?

I don't get paid for the extra effort i put in anyway.

*Oh my, why is my heart tearing?*
I should be happy.
I will not be responsible for the downfall of the band, anymore.
And that's certainly a great relief.

My wish came true.

But can i be a lil more greedy?
I hope that the person that takes over are better/puts in more effort than me, seriously.
No point having a leader that can't lead.

Hahs! Hello everyone...
Miss me yea? :x

Was initially busy with exams,
and now that it's over.... YEA!

Time to have fun with friends and take a break from school work!
So I went to orchard/bugis with adeline,livent,huiyi and eiliane on the friday night!

Winks :D
Reached home at 12am lo.
Orchard is not a place for us, i guess....
Was really bored and all we could do is to stare at the big big buildings before our eyes.
But switched to bugis afterwards, was alot better.
Arcade i guess, made the difference.

Yea... and blah blah.
Was thinking of an outing with the eupho BMs...
Shall see about it...

Alot of other stuff to do..

-Sectionals? Wants to abort that idea but it's time to face it. ]:
-Violin practice? Wants to improve la, is what my teacher said true? Violin is the hardest for beginners? I need alot more practice to make sure that i don play other strings while playing the A. :]

-Camps! YEAAAAA HAPPYYYY :]
-Edit the proposals, waiting for the day to come. Headache! x.x
-Outings!:]
-Band concert, disastrous. ]:
-Attend esplanade concerts! Yea! :]

Why am i dreading everything about RSSB?

Heh hello everyone!
I've taken a long break and now that i'm back, miss me?

Life is so so for me yea...
Usual routine,
lessons, band, exams, violin lessons.

Hopes that everyone is doing great :]

Today was welll..... fast?
Love fridays the most.

Why?!
School ends at 12.30pm!
Went to cwp with adelineeeee to slack.
Bought some stuff.
Then went home at 2.15pm.

3.45 sleep till 7pm~~
gosh, i'm feeling so warm now and will pespire soon ba.
eeeks.

Oh and i ran the 2.4km for HL today!
lols!
Feeling damn proud of it, cause i haven't been exercising.
Isn't it obvious?

Chemistry paper 1 next thurs,
History paper next friday.

Hahs, i haven't been studying la.
Oh i got back my speed test results,
16/20 - didn't study.
previously it was always 10/20 when i did study?
Maybe i should go through exams in another way,
as in not like how i used to do it.
It doesn't work.

Practice doesn't make perfect,
Practice with evaluation makes perfect.

I forgot where i got that from.
And i'm currently reading on Barack obama.

FYI, i got no idea who's bill clinton can!

I went to google it, guess what.

Invitation to participate in YoReCa Nov 09 (Youth Resilience Camp)
The Ministry of Information, Communications and the Arts (MICA) is pleasedto invite nominations for the third Youth Resilience Camp - YoReCa.

Thecamp will be held during the November holidays for students aged 15(Secondary 3s going onto Secondary 4 in 2010).
Aimed at nurturing/educating Singaporean youth on the need for resilience,this exciting camp brings students through an intensive and variedprogramme that:
a) examines issues such as threats faced by Singapore, our vulnerabilitiesand building resilience at individual, societal and national levels; and
b) equips students with practical skills to help themselves and others inemergency situations.

YoReCa provides students a rare opportunity to hear from the experts theinside story of how our forces protect Singaporeans every day. It alsoallows them the opportunity to see for themselves what it takes to build aresilient Singapore. The lessons and skills learnt from this camp will beinvaluable to your students, equipping them for life with the ability tohelp themselves and those around them. Our pre- and post-camp surveys haveindicated significant improvements in participants' individual preparednessfor crises. Student feedback on the camp has also been very positive; andour most recent run of the camp in June was almost doubly over-subscribed.

The camp is facilitated by experienced trainers, and includes exclusivevisits to various government agencies. Students get the chance toexperience for themselves the need for preparedness and to fully appreciatethe different agencies' efforts in ensuring Singapore's safety. To ensurethat each student gets the most of the camp, we are limiting participationto a maximum of 80 students.

The cost for each participant is estimated at $500, which MICA will payfully for this upcoming camp. However, in view of rising costs and reducedbudgets, we will have to charge schools a proportion of the costs (to bedetermined) for future runs of this camp in 2010 and beyond.

It is unfortunate that some student participants from past camps had takenthis camp for granted and there were no-shows after confirmation andlast-minute withdrawals. Hence, we urge all schools and students to beresponsible and not to deprive another participant of the camp. Should astudent from your school withdraw at the last minute, or is absent withouta valid reason for the camp, we will ask the school to pay the full chargesincurred by MICA (both operating and any direct or indirect administrativecosts that may be incurred). We seek your understanding on this matter andencourage your students not to miss the opportunity to participate in thecamp in Nov 09.

Your school is invited to nominate up to 10 students for YoReCa. A campprogramme (subject to change) and nomination form can be found at the linksbelow.

No matter how hard he tried, can't in tune.

Then i was practicing just now...

I needa buy another string again and get my teacher to fix it for me.
Wah sian.
Luckily the string cost me $1.25 only,
if not i sure go crazy.

There are strings that cost $20+, my teacher's cost $100+.
Can you imagine if i use those type?
I will burn a hole in my pocket.

Instrument Workshop

Targeted at band members of secondary school bands and post secondary schools, this workshop aims to provide participants with a better understanding on instrument playing as musicians from the KCM share with participants the practical skills and technique of music making.

Through active participation and demonstration, participants will be encouraged to apply the skills and imitate after the instrumentalist to achieve qualities in aspects such as tone production, breathing and blowing techniques, articulation and more.

Instrument workshop available for: Flute, Clarinet, Oboe, Saxophone, Horn, Trumpet, Trombone, Euphonium, Tuba, Percussion
